Tales of Kenzera: ZAU

Tales of Kenzera: Zau is a single-player platformer with metroidvania influences which sees the player travelling across Kenzera with Kalunga, the god of death, with whom he has made a bargain to bring his baba back from the Realm of the Dead.


Released on PC, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch


Responsibilities:

  • Created clear and well documented Blueprints with hooks for other departments to use (Audio, VFX, Tech Art)
  • Took features from design concept to final implementation
  • Worked closely with the code team to ensure features were created in an efficient manner
  • Technical implementation of all major tutorials
  • Created tools and features for the level design department
  • Helped maintain and update different features such as dialogue, quest and interaction systems
  • Oversaw implementation of map pins
  • Boss fight prototype and iterations
